1. I heard Modest Mouse on the radio. On the Zone (101.5 FM) even.
2. I did not see Modest Mouse from SXSW on MTV2 last night. I probably won't see it Sunday night. Though maybe we get MTV2 at the new place.
3. Moving is freaky. It is weird to pack up (almost) all your things into a truck and have people carry them around. Hopefully I'll live at this place long enough to get rid of some of the excess. And yes I realize that it's better to do that before moving.
4. Moving announcements will go out, uhh, sometime. The net is not yet up at the new place; I'm not going to do it tonight; I don't know about tomorrow before I pack up my computer but outlook is not good.
5. There are no dish towels around. And far too many dirty dishes that I need dry and clean tomorrow so I can box them up. Then again it is probably not a good idea to transfer dishes directly from my collection of old copies of the New Times to the cupboard for use. A wash might be in order anyway, huh. So then I would only have to worry about not having dirty dishes rather than having clean dishes (if that distinction is now clear.)
6. Colorstore and Sweet Bleeders (3/4 band members overlap) are playing the Emerald Lounge tonight. They said they'd start 10ish. I don't know if I'm going to make it that long much less to 2. But if I want any chance (i.e. to not have the decision made for me by lazyness) I need to deal with the content of 5 and get a move on.
7. After tomorrow I probably will have very limited net access, likely until May.
First off, eric, you do realize you added Omar Vizquel in the old/fake/non-PLUS league, correct? If yes, yay! someone else cares about the old/fake/non-PLUS league.
